Crystal TrueloveCrystal Truelove is a native of Jackson, Tennessee, and a product of the Jackson-Madison County School System. Currently, she serves as a 4th Grade Mathematics, Science, and, Socials Studies teacher for Memphis-Shelby County Schools. In addition to teaching, she serves as a member of her school’s Instructional Leadership Team, Response to Instruction and Intervention for Behavior Team (RTI2B), and, Emergency Management Team. Crystal is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. It was there she became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc, and vowed to impact the lives of others through hard work and community service. After six years in case management, she made the decision to go into education. She earned her Master of Arts in Education from Bethel University and later went on to take classes to receive her administrative license. Next year, she will be entering her seventh year of teaching. She believes educators should constantly strive to show growth within their craft, for this reason, she takes advantage of every opportunity she has to better herself for her students and community.
